Goal: Advocate for the Region  6 and its organizational units’ (OU) practices, activities, and policies in
order to create and maintain a diverse and inclusive environment that is valuable for all
members. Support advocacy efforts in making progress towards a diverse, equitable,
and inclusive technical community within the Region.

R6 Five Focus Areas:

1. Promotion. – Celebrating and showcasing
2. Education – Raising awareness and developing sharable resources
3. Accountability – Collecting and analyzing data. Using and providing benchmarking and
   tracking
4. Communication – Sharing these efforts effectively to benefit across R6
5. Engagement – Increasing and engagement and support Region-wide
