ABSTRACT: The IEEE Fellow Nomination and Elevation process is complex with its many moving parts. In this talk, an overview of the process will be given, together with guidance and suggestions on how to write an effective nomination — especially for Industry members. Statistical data will also be presented to support the notion that Industry members have very good elevations rates, often better than those of Academics.

Previously, Stefano was Lead Scientist in Futurewei Technologies, Director in ASSIA and Panasonic, and as Senior Scientist in Bellcore.
